Land Acknowledgment: Lotus Yoga acknowledges that we are on the unceded ancestral lands of the Duwamish people (dxʷdəwʔabš). A people that are still here, continuing to honor and bring to light their ancient heritage. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the original caretakers of this land, past and present. This acknowledgement does not take the place of authentic relationships with indigenous communities, but serves as a first step in honoring the land we are on.
