Karma Yoga:
A Way to Share our Blessings

“Lokaah Samastaah Sukhino Bhavantu (May All Beings be Happy and Free)”
Traditional Sanskrit chant

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”
Mohandas K. Gandhi

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Yoga tradition values selfless service as a way to deepen one’s own spiritual practice and help to alleviate the sufferings of others. Karma Yoga; the yoga of selfless service is this path. Lotus Yoga is committed to being an active participant in the goal of all beings being happy and free. We are just one small business, but it is only through the actions of individuals that true change is made.

  • Team Survivor NW: We offer the free use of our studio 1 time weekly to this Cancer survivor organization; Team Survivor Northwest, so that they can offer free yoga classes to their members.
